Virtual Volunteerism

Virtual volunteerism opens up new options for everyone! Sign up volunteers who are disabled, homebound, work at home or just enjoy communicating via computer to:

• Conduct online research for grant writing, newsletters, feasibility studies, etc.

• Build databases by doing web site address searches using online phone books and other sites.

• Provide professional consulting in human resources, strategic planning, accounting, legal issues, management, event planning, media communications, etc.

• Help with advocacy – posting information and tracking legislation and other actions that may affect your clients.

• Translate documents for clients who speak other languages.

• Prepare Power Point and other presentations, do graphic design, write copy, etc.

• Proofread and edit.
