Who We Are

Shellie Speer
Founder/president, Account Executive

Shellie Speer founded ENEX GROUP in 1994, after working for seven years with a reputable fundraising firm, where she learned every aspect of successful direct-mail fundraising. From the beginning, God led Shellie to specialize in fundraising with Christian rescue missions, especially those that struggled with the high costs of larger fundraising companies. Her commitment to meeting the specific needs of rescue missions remains ENEX GROUP's first priority.

Shellie's experience is put to use as she develops mailing strategies, segmentation models and analyses for clients. Her vision of an Integrated Donor Communications Model has empowered clients to set in motion successful development plans that strengthen their Missions' financial foundations and partnerships in the community.

She lives in the Colorado Springs area with her husband, Bill, and their daughter, Anna.

Mindy Sherfy
Account Executive

Mindy Sherfy joined ENEX GROUP in May 2000, following 11 years of service with agencies specializing in strategic nonprofit fundraising and direct marketing. Her professional background includes the development and management of database systems, employee supervision and training, production coordination, art direction and copywriting. Mindy serves as a liaison between ENEX GROUP and its clients. She works alongside Shellie to create new campaigns, projects and reports, incorporating tested fundraising strategies with new ideas.

Mindy received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State University. She lives with her husband, Mark, and their sons, Joshua and Jordan, in Shawnee, Kansas.
